Oakridge Co-op Updates
Update: August 2024
We are in exciting stages as we prep the final tenant spaces in the Professional Building. Transitioning them from the mall to their new locations. But, before we dive into what's next, here's what we've accomplished so far:
Interior Progress: Underground mechanical and electrical work is nearing completion for the first half of the building. Base slab work is largely complete, with some small slab sections being finished off.
Upcoming: As we speak, the main slab pours are being placed. Wall and structural framing, along with significant overhead work, are next on the list!

Update: April 2024
The Calgary Co-op Food Store located at #8 Oakridge is well under way. Check out our time lapse video to see the progress made on the 53,427 sq. ft new grocery store with 5 CRU’s and associated site work. The 14-acre site and the existing businesses are operational throughout construction and public activity is at a high so public safety, traffic flow, and deliveries for business must be maintained at all times.
Elan Construction completed all the new underground deep service installations, asphalt and site concrete for the entire site in 2021, constructed a new 2-storey professional building with 14 CRU’s in 2021, completed many of the tenant improvements in 2022, demolished the existing mall in 2023 and begun construction of the new grocery store in 2023.
