The Mustard Seed
Elan has been volunteering at the mustard seed for many years. Over the past 2 years Elan has volunteered in the kitchen annually, preparing and serving dinner, working with the same kitchen team leads each year. Last Christmas we put out donation boxes at all our sites and head office, collecting items of clothing. Toiletries, gift cards, etc.
The why.
The Mustard Seed is a great organization within our city that helps those in need. At Elan we find it crucial to help our community. We strive to make the city of Calgary better, mainly by building infrastructure that serve the population but also by volunteering our time.
The by-product of our efforts volunteering at The Mustard Seed is that it is also a great team building experience, although our primary focus is to help our local community.
